Grant's Blinds are expanding and moving to larger premises so we are looking for an experienced blind making or workshop assistant- for light assembly.
Need to be physically fit due to lifting, must be able to use a tape measure (metric). Some practical or workshop experience would be ideal, but a good work ethic, following instruction and a can do attitude a must.
Pay rate will rise as skills are learnt - quicker you learn the more you will earn 40 hour week, Monday to Friday . Overtime if required is paid at time & half. Due to location a driving licence and car are essential -

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled individual to lead our production team, ensuring high-quality output while driving productivity and efficiency.

Oversee the production process, ensuring blinds are manufactured to the highest standards.
Lead and support a small team, fostering a hands-on and collaborative work environment.
Continuously seek ways to improve productivity, workflow, and efficiency.
Manage stock levels, materials, and production schedules to meet deadlines.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure quality control checks are in place and adhered to.
Implement and uphold health and safety regulations.
Strong production management experience in manufacturing, ideally within a bespoke or made-to-measure environment.
A hands-on leader who is willing to get involved in all aspects of production.
Experience with manual and motorised blind manufacturing is a plus but not essential.
Ability to improve processes and increase efficiency without compromising quality.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Need to be focussed on perfection, with a positive outlook.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
